Michael Carroll will conduct his Awake At Work Seminar at the Albany Shambhala Center in Albany, NY, Friday June 12, and Saturday June 13, 2015.  To be Awake at Work is to acknowledge that all human beings are instinctively decent; all human beings want to be respectful, honest, and helpful. Such decency, however, can not be taken for granted and must be developed and appreciated and respected. To be Awake at Work is to cultivate this basic decency in ourselves and others at all times and under all circumstances. Friday evening will be an open talk for those who are interested in meeting Michael Carroll and exploring the topic of Awake a t Work. Saturday will be the Awake at Work seminar consisting of two 3 hour sessions followed by a reception.

Michael will be one of the featured speakers at this event, which will bring together leaders and aspiring leaders from all organizational levels and various backgrounds, including business, non-profit, education, health & wellness, law, and government to explore the growing practice of mindful leadership. Michael has lectured on the topic of bringing mindfulness-awareness into the workplace at Wharton Business School, Swarthmore College, Virgina Tech, Columbia University, Drexel University, University of Sydney, Toronto University, Kripalu, Zen Mountain Monastery, Omega Institute and many other institutions throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Katherine Handin and Michael Carroll will be attending and presenting at the upcoming Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC) 3rd Annual Coaching Conference 2014 in Seoul, South Korea on October 7th and 8th . The APAC2014 theme is “The Global Perspectives: culture, diversity, creativity & transformation.  Katherine and Michael will give a keynote presentation on an emerging trend among leaders, mindfulness and its application to the challenges of leaders in complex global organizations.
